2019 Chinese New Year Atmophere in Jakarta

Monday, Feb 4th 2019, one day before public holiday of Chinese Lunar New Year. I was tempted to take one day off.

I went from Bekasi to Jakarta's China Town, in Glodok and Pancoran area, accompanied by umbrella, mirrorless camera, and deep feeling of longing to Chinese New Year atmosphere.

Commuterline train brought me from Bekasi to  Kota Train Station  (Beos) , continue by walking 1.2km to reach the Old China Town.  Heaven bless me with good weather. The cloud shading me from the Sun. Without rain. And, these pictures will tell you thousand words !

Street Vendor, Occupied most of sideway of the small street. During Chinese New Year Session, it dominated by red color, symbol of good fortune.

I end the adventure in Jakarta Chinatown,  by having lunch with my brother, Gan (thanks for coming), and the most  delicious Suekiaw & China Soap Noodle in Pancoran Chinatown Point is the menu. What a great day.
